Monsieur Plastique never intended to become a party socialite, performance artist, host, MC, DJ and an overall creative madman. But oh my, he is loving it!
Starting off as an "innocent" boy who just finished highschool he went clubbing 5 days a week. Dressing outrageously, full-on make-up and dancing wildly he became noticed by the party elite. During this period he became acquainted with Mar-Vellous and started working for her as make-up artist for her performances.
Ideas started to bubble and Monsieur Plastique offered to collaborate with her to create new performances, exhibitions and such. Because of this he started to become more and more familiar with the undeniable club life royalty, world-famous DJ's, party organizers, fashion designers etc.
Now almost 4 years later Monsieur Plastique became a big name himself as well. Hosting the stages for Extrema Outdoor, Solar festival, and all kinds of other insane, huge parties. Being the face of Rauw, a muze and model for designers and photographers, and gets flown all over the world to do performances, sets and so on.
His deep-rooted love for music morphed into the becoming of DJ Monsieur Plastique. After years of sneakily checking out the tricks of the grandmasters (Joost van Bellen, Fake Blood, Tommie Sunshine, Felix da Housecat etc. etc.) in the dj booth, he decided people should hear his take and taste on music.
Starting off with his first gig for Red Bull he thereafter played on big parties like UNK, Pink Amsterdam in Istanbul, the always lovely illegal underground parties and even multiple sets at Mysteryland, Solar festival and so on.
Since 2010 he also organises the very succesfull party "Homogenic" in the legendary, creative village of Ruigoord.
Remembering his past he is looking towards the future and has no intention of slowing down whatsoever. With an unstoppable flow of creativity, energy and overall madness Monsieur Plastique is ready to take over the world!
